ESIS TC2 meetings cover all micromechanisms of fatigue and fracture of materials and components (www.structuralintegrity.eu/tc2-micromechanisms.html).
The meeting was co-organised by ESIS and FESI (UK Forum for Engineering Structural Integrity).
Special Issue(s)
The conference chairs, with advice from session chairs, will invite selected authors to develop their extended abstracts into papers for journal publication in special issues of the International Journal Engineering Fracture Mechanics. These will appear in 2013 and will include contributions from this workshop and the preceding TC2 workshop in Berlin (November 2011, tc2.fme.vutbr.cz).
The deadline for papers for the special issue will be 1st June 2012.
